I thought the content of this book was great, but I would NEVER give this to my beloved boyfriend to read because to me, the language used comes across in a subtly (sometimes not so subtly) shaming way. For example: “Silence or too much laughter obviously means it’s not working and it’s time to move on.” Why use the word “obviously?” Sometimes I like to be quiet and enjoy instead of having to perform all the verbal reassurance.

I ended up copying and pasting most of the tips into my own document and re-writing the language so that it’s informative, kind, and inviting experimentation.

I have also recently come across Miss Jaiya’s Erotic Blueprints which really support undoing the shame around the sexual style that wants to get right to it. Also, not all women fit into this manual, but the truth is most women’s physiology and psychology requires this kind of attention. So ... yes to these tips, no to the subtle irritation and anger with the men.
